12-03-2003 - I have a message from Jim Bader to all the readers who have enjoyed his Fanfics and Artwork below: 

And now for something I really hate doing, but circumstances have been rather unkind of late, so pride must take a backseat over practicality...

Namely, I am in need of a new scanner, and while they have come down considerably in price of late, I am unable to afford one due to losing one of my two jobs, the seasonal one that was only going to last for the Christmas season.

Writing and artwork are expensive habits (ask any Fanfic author) to support, and until I can get back on my feet and secure a decent living wage (in Colorado? My county ranks 241st in the nation for job losses!) I'm going to need to ask for some assistance. I've tapped out with friends, I really hate borrowing from relatives, and I'd much rather earn my way by paying people back (through installments, possibly) in the only manner I know how...by providing them with enjoyment of my creations. 

And so I need to ask for a favor from anyone who might care to see more of my work get posted...can you spare a dime or two to a buddy? Doesn't have to be a large contribution, just something to help me get a new scanner (my old one lasted six years and deserves decent retirement). 01-07-2003 - I'm BACK! ^_^;;; I was getting kinda burned out maintaining my webpages, so I took a break. Rest assured that it wasn't Jim's Fault, he has been writing, I just have not been posting it. i'm all caught up now ^_^

07-19-2002 - Still no reply to my inquiry to the HostUltra webmaster so i opened another Sexshare.com as a mirror site so that visitors can have a choice. the Mirror site is  http://ss9.sexshare.com/~Jimbader/jimbader.html

07-17-2002 - The Upload was completed, BUT i discovered that there is s problem. all of the text files loses it's formating when viewed and it shows all the fics as one long continous paragraph, the Temporary FIX is to click on the fic link, then Click View then Click Source and the Fanfic will be opened in a separate window with the proper formating, i sent a question to the webmaster about it. Hopefully the problem can be fixed soon.

07-16-2002 - I received a email telling me that all of my web1000.com account have exceeded the 50mb space. so all of the web1000 accounts we discontinued. i then had to search for a new Free Host, i found one at HostUltra.com they offer unlimited Space, unlimited bandwidth and that allows Adult Contents, it's the best combination of features that i was looking for. i then started the long process of uploading all of Jim's Fanfics and Artwork.   the NEW Site is http://home.hostultra.com/~AngCobraFics/jimbader.html

03-17-2002 - The New Site seems to be working well, I haven't gotten a lot of complaint about it except for Readers outside the U.S.  the problem seems to be experienced by users of Non-English Localized browsers, i was told that the solution i to switch the browser setting to English Localized. i'm keeping the Sexshare site as a mirror site.

03-08-2002 - I Received a LOT of email complaining about problems readers are experiencing with Sexshare.com, I apologized for the difficulties but there's nothing much I can do about them, BUT i did open a account (Free) at Web1000.com for Jim's Fanfics, and uploaded all of Jim's files to it.   Check it out and let me know if it's any good,  If after a while, I don't get any negative feedback about the site, I'll make that the main site,  the NEW Site is http://jimbader.web1000.com/jimbader.html

07-16-2001 - I apologized for the Looong delay in updating this page, the fault was all mine, NOT Jim's, JIm's been chugging them out at a fast pace (as usual) but i've been really busy with R.L. since i haven't had time to proofread them yet, and I'm in the middle of a project, I've decided to just post them WITHOUT proofreading them for now and once I'm done with my project, I'll go back and proofread them and repost the revised versions, BTW: I'm still having problems uploading certain fics in TXT format up to fortunecity so I just converted 4 chapters (Chapter 33, 34, 37 and 38) to HTML format

05-26-2001 - Thanks for being so patient, I was getting an upload error when I tried to upload text files, I kept trying to upload daily and today, without an response from Fortunecity, I was able to upload the text files!, i still had problems uploading earth child 29, after trying several things, I gave it up and I converted it to html file and uploaded it.  so all the new fics should be available. I'm planning to stay with fortunecity for now,  Again, thanks for being so patient.

05-16-2001 - I had to pull the last 3 new fics, it's not my fault, for some reason, Fortunecity won't let me upload TEXT files, it allowed me to FTP up HTML files but not TEXT files, anybody else out there having this problem?  I've reported this to Fortunecity but haven't gotten a reply yet, sigh... may have to find another site provider that's less problematic if this keeps up. Sorry about this ^_^; I'll upload them as soon as i can.

(unless of course, Fortunecity has a system problems, which would be out of my control ^_^). For now, i'll keep the mirror site on the other Fortunecity site. 02-08-2001 - My Fix didn't work out quite the way i wanted it (actually made it worse ^_^;; kinda like the cure being worse than the disease sigh...) so I created a mirror site on each of Jim's webpages that SHOULD be able to access fics. ^_^;;; Gomen! I do plan on fixing it the right way but time to do it right is kinda hard to find for now. I hope this temp fix works. right below the WHAT'S NEW link and all the other links you should see 'MAIN' page and 'MIRROR page', if you have any problems for now, Please use the Mirror page link.
