The Ginyu Force has arrived on Namek! After a little dance to honor Frieza and boost morale, the five head off after Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan.
Meanwhile, Krillin and Gohan decide not to give Vegeta the Dragon Ball just as the Ginyu arrive on the scene! Vegeta attempts to throw one Dragon Ball away, but is foiled by the incredible speed of Burter. Krillin attempts to destroy a Dragon Ball, but is surprised to learn that Guldo can freeze an instant in time, allowing him to steal the Dragon Ball. With all seven balls in their hands, Ginyu heads off to find Frieza. Meanwhile, the remaining Ginyu head after Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta, who appear to be in over their heads.

TIME TRICKS AND BODY BINDS 8-6-02
Guldo, Recoome, Burter and Jiece stay behind to take care of buisness. Krillin and Gohan launch an assault on Guldo, but his moment freezing ability almost proves to be too much. He eventually is forced to freeze the two in midair, and are about to be skewered, when Vegeta interferes, then goes to take on Recoome. Unfortunatly, he appears to be incredibly strong! But it's okay...Vegeta's been holding off, and his power knows no mercy!

NO REFUGE FROM RECOOME 8-7-02
...uh, what was that I said about Vegeta?
Vegeta gets smacked up something fierce by the relentless Recoome, a hulking android with no intelligence but immense strength.
Krillin shoots in to attack, while Gohan gets Vegeta out of harms way and narrowly saves his life, but Recoome takes his revenge on Krillin. It's up to Gohan now. The pint sized warrior is out of his league, but his dedication to Piccolo's resurrection may prove to be his ultimate flaw!

ENTER GOKU
8-8-02
Gohan appears to have the edge...until Recoome actually fights back!
Gohan is getting...well, thrashed. Frieza has all seven balls, but just realized that they're is some form of technique or ritual or something that must be done in order to summon the Dragon, so she heads off for the last three Nameks alive: Guru, Dende and the currently absent Nail!
Meanwhile, Gohan is slowly coming closer and closer to death. His power level has dropped nearly zero. Vegeta doesn't have enough energy to move, let alone fight. Krillin is on the ground, his body fried. All hope is gone...but what is that glistening light high above?
Yes, in true fashion, Goku arrives without a second to spare. Seriously beefed up and touting a bag of Senzu Beans, Goku heads to the battle field, restoring his nearly dead son.
Burter and Jiece aren't exactly sure what's happening...but Recoome is starting to have some doubts!
Goku, after healing Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta, attacks Recoome...and it's a very quick end.
Meanwhile, Vegeta senses something...something amazing...the Prince has been angered. His power may finally be completely insufficient compared to Goku. Vegeta is the only one that realizes it, but the question burns and lingers in his heart...
Has Goku become a Super Saiyan?
Jiece and Barter attack, leaving both of them in awe and in pain. Jiece lives to fly off and get help, but Vegeta flies down and kills the helpless Barter and Recoome, much to Goku's dismay.
Just moments later, Jiece arrives at Frieza's ship. Angered, Captain Ginyu jumps in, flying off to avenge his fellow comrades!
As Frieza inches closer and closer to Guru's, Capt. Ginyu and Jiece arrive on the battlefield. Goku's hidden power level throws the Captain, but he too can hide his ability!
Meanwhile, Krillin and Gohan go after the Dragon Balls, with Vegeta secretly in pursuit!
Ginyu is shocked and amazed...Goku is in a league of his own, leaving Ginyu in the dust!
But Ginyu realizes that Goku doesn't want to hurt anyone...and plans to use it agains him!
Meanwhile, Frieza has arrived at Guru's and has taken on and easily defeated three older Nameks. Now, it's up to Nail, but can he stop Frieza in time!
GOKU IS GINYU AND GINYU IS GOKU 8-19-02
In a huge plot twist, Captain Ginyu switches bodies with Goku! Goku is now the seriously injured Ginyu, and Ginyu is the seriously powered up Goku!
Frieza has met Guru, who refuses to give him the password. Now, it's up to Nail...but can he stall long enough for Krillin and Gohan to use the balls?
CALLING THE ETERNAL DRAGON 8-20-02
Vegeta, fully healed, is watching as Krillin and Gohan find the hidden Dragon Balls...and realize they don't know the right password. But hey, Goku just arrived...or did he?
Ginyu/Goku smacks up Krillin and attacks Gohan, putting up quite a fight. But Goku/Ginyu arrives just in time to say that there's no way Ginyu/Goku can use it's full power...something Ginyu/Goku is eager to prove wrong!
GOHAN-DEFEAT YOUR DAD! 8-21-02
Guess Ginyu/Goku was wrong...his power level is only 23,000!
He still puts up a quite a struggle, but it appears Vegeta has become a Super Saiyan! He takes out Jiece fairly easily, then lays the smackdown on Ginyu/Goku! But Ginyu/Goku has got another ace up his sleeve: as Vegeta flies down for the killing blow, Ginyu/Goku is preparing to switch bodies with Vegeta! Can Goku/Ginyu stop him in time?!
CAPTAIN GINYU...THE FROG 8-22-02
Goku/Ginyu proves he's not entirely an idiot by jumping in between Vegeta and Ginyu/Goku, meaning Goku is Goku, Ginyu is Ginyu, and I don't have to write their names as long anymore(*phew)!
Anyway, Goku is severly thrashed and can't even attack because he's not readjusted to his body yet, so Vegeta takes on Ginyu again. This time, Ginyu lets himself be beaten a little before deciding to switch bodies. However, Goku gets the drop again by hurtling a small frog in the path, turning the frog into Ginyu and Ginyu into the frog!
With that taken care of, Vegeta offers them the chance to heal Goku so he can help during the battle with Frieza. Goku is placed in an Isolation Chamber, a small pod which fills itself with synthetic Saiyan DNA, which will penetrate Goku's pores and restore him to full health in about one hour.
After fixing up Goku, Vegeta gives Gohan and Krillin some older model Saiyan armor to wear, hopefully giving them more of an edge against Frieza. Krillin takes off to find Guru, leaving Gohan and Vegeta alone.
And so it is. Goku is healing. Nail is getting beaten by Frieza. Guru is dieing. And Dende can only hope he can make it to the Z Fighters with the password in time. But now another wrinkle is being added to the plot. Vegeta does not appear to be well...could he actually be afraid of Frieza?!
