RACING:
Harrison Widelitz was disappointed at not coming away with a win yet this season. He came to Ford Drag dialed in and blazed through the track with a perfect qualifying run, the rest of the field a few tenths of a second behind:

Last year it was Mike Alston getting the win, and he was here in the same ride that won things for him, Team Meents. Robby Haught and Skitso 5 held the overall points lead but qualified in the 14's. Landon Harrison is the man in second place, and he looked almost as strong as Harry. We'd have to see what went down in the first round...
ROUND 1 HIGHLIGHTS
James Hannon has shaken the rust off, and he gave a very good account of himself against Landon Harrison in the first round. Although he didn't take a win on a slower connection, he ran Landon very hard:

Robby Haught, Jeremy Waring, and Bill Haught won their first round matchups, and then it was time for our now-occasional NTNT guest, Josh Rhodes and Half Breed 3, to run his first round race. Dig had retired for personal reasons from active racing and is still not devoted full-time anymore, but made his presence felt with this first round win:

ROUND 2 HIGHLIGHTS
Round 2 was cutting things down to the big guns quickly. Bill Haught advanced another round of racing in Maximum Destruction with a surprise win over Dustin Hart and BlackBeard 3. In his other round of racing before the finals though, Bill crossed paths with Robby and Skitso yet again, and poled, ending his night.

Ultra, Harry, and Slick proved their qualifying times were no fluke, and Alex Weber was upset early, setting up the semifinals...
SEMI-FINALS HIGHLIGHTS
VS.
Harrison and Robby had one of the closest races of the season thus far, and by inches, Harrison was judged the winner. Robby was still unconvinced and the replay was inconclusive. Haught headed for the pits without saying much after congratulating Harry.

VS.
Landon and Jeremy were both running well, but one truck had to go prepare for freestyle early, and that truck was Waring's Bounty Hunter tonight. Jeremy got into the wall going down the back stretch on the St. Louis-style course, and that was all Landon needed. Bounty Hunter was relatively unhurt and would return for freestyle, while Slick and Harry met in the....
FINALS
In a rematch of this season's first race, Slick took on Harry. This time Harry and Hammer 3 had lane choice, though. Would it help him to his first win of the season? Let's find out! And there's the green! The trucks are even heading into the final turn...but Slick hits his shifts perfectly and flies to victory! LANDON HARRISON IN MECHANICAL STIMULATION IS YOUR WINNER! Congratulations to both drivers.

Freestyle had its moments last year and this year was sure to be even better, so let's head right back into more action at Ford Drag!
