NTNT Season 2 RACE 5-Laurance County Fairgrounds
FREESTYLE
Jeremy Murphy was frustrated after a disappointing night in racing, but luckily he didn't crush Bounty Hunter here; he flew over it in reverse off of a van! Jeremy rode the Vaters-style move to a 24 in freestyle and went home happy.

Glen Milburn has had problems making every race in NTNT, but if he ever does, he certainly puts on a show in Scarlet Bandit! Glen flipped very early in his run but excited the crowd, scoring a 16.

Not to be outdone, Glen's brother Robbie took the lead with an incredible reverse jump over a school bus, earning a 25 from the judges.

Charlie Wagner has been coming on strong lately after joining just in time for the second stop on the NTNT tour, and he showed that Goldberg can freestyle as well or better than it races, tying for the lead with a 25.

After being upset in the racing portion of the event, Landon Harrison came out aiming for the stars and launching the truck everywhere in Mechanical Stimulation. It cost him early though, and a flip with a minute left to go earned him an 11.

Freestyle and Jeremy Waring have always gotten along, and tonight he put on a GREAT show for the fans, scoring a 27 in Bounty Hunter. The highlight of his run came when he launched the truck over the huge container, then landed and powered towards a bus, catching some nice air and pulling an incredble slap wheelie! Jeremy's trademark big air and two-wheel saves also showed up and he hopped out very excited, then headed to the pits to see if his score would hold up.

Trevor Andrews learned his lessons well from Dustin Hart, and he's quickly becoming a freestyle favorite in NTNT! He started his run with a HUGE reverse wheelie, then landed and powered into a NOSE-WHEELIE and rode it across the length of the track! The only thing that may have held Trevor back from a higher score was a flip with about 18 seconds left. Before the permanent flip though, he pulled an absolutely INCREDIBLE flip and save that put an exclamation point on a great run. He scored a 26 in Frightmare.

They don't call Mike Alston "MadMan" for nothing. He tied Bounty Hunter's 27 with huge air and a Meents-style sidesurf and save that got the crowd excited. Mike's just a bit of momentum away from jumping back into the points chase, but he needs to show up at more events to do so. We'll see if he carries this momentum into the rest of the season.

And then there was one. Robby Haught and Skitso 5 went foot to the floor the entire run in Skitso 5, ripping off a classic freestyle and earning a 28 that was booed by the judges, who felt the score should have been higher. The run got the judges' attention right from the start--He floored it over a van pyramid, then smashed violently into the triple container pyramid at the end of the track, twisting the truck sideways in the air...can he save it? YES HE CAN! The crowd roared as Robby continued, blasting over every obstacle. He heads for the bus stack..up and over but a twisted landing...and another save! Then he took it to the cars and launched it, landing in a sidesurf and bringing it back down. With 15 seconds to go, he went for his finale...an enormous reverse sideways hit on the vans that sent the truck crashing backwards, almost all the way onto all fours again as time expired. Robby Haught takes the freestyle win, making it a Haught Brothers sweep at Laurance County! See you next week!
