FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTS

Last week's winner, Josh Rhodes, flipped a little early on in his freestyle run, but still managed a 21 in the Half Breed 3.

Following Dig's run, Corey Davis brought Reptoid out, and it ended up being a costly night for him, flipping and hurting that 3-D fiberglass body quite a bit early in the run and scoring a 12. He'll be back next week though, and is still in great standing to make the World Finals.

Next was David Stewart, who brought Hot Shoe to the track looking for a great score to offset his early flip the previous week. He took the lead with a very nice run, including some wheelies, even one from an obstacle linked into another obstacle, that earned him a 25.

Robby Haught is really trying to step up his freestyle game, and after seeing that the judges put a premium on using all of the time available, he did just that, but by no means wussed the truck, putting it on the edge the entire run. This earned him a tie for the lead with David at a 25.

David Stewart hopped into Black Stallion as well for this event, subbing for Robbie Milburn, and had another nice run similar to the one he had in Hot Shoe. He scored a 24.

Alex Weber is trying his best to make it into NTNT World Finals 1, and he's just a couple points shy of doing so at the moment. He scored a 25 to make it a three-way tie for the lead, even ending up stuck on the barriers at the end of the track!

Corey Davis pulled double duty in Dustin Hart's Pure Adrenalin for the second straight week, and once again was treated well in it, scoring a 24.

Other scores were as follows:

Bill Haught (Freak of Nature)-21

Mike Alston (Sniper)-19

Mike Alston (Bigfoot T-Wrecks, subbing for Cory Schwab)-18

John Everett (Blue Thunder)-23

Landon Harrison (MoonShiner)-15

Eddie Carmichael (Bigfoot 10)-21

Tonight one driver stood above the rest in freestyle, and that driver was Halid Kurtic, taking another win in freestyle with a 26. He had a nice reverse jump that crushed a van completely and knocked it off a pyramid set up on the track, then saved it after sidesurfing it. He continued his run in his usual great style, and tonight that was good enough to put The Rock in the winners' circle. Congratulations to Halid and good night from International Monster Jam!
