FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTS

Another amazing final round matchup had the crowd already on its feet and screaming for more. To get things started off, Halid "Bull" Kurtic came out in The Rock and had a very nice run, scoring a 25 with some nice air.

Next to freestyle was Robby Haught and the Skitso 4. Robby was upset in racing and took his anger out on the crush cars and everything else on the track, keeping good momentum up and getting a 26 and the early lead for his efforts.

Josh Rhodes is the current leader in freestyle points, but lost some of that lead tonight with some bad luck, flipping after hitting the huge semi trailer early in his run. He received an 18.

Alex Weber was back in the seat of Bear Foot after hiring a sub for last week's race, and he had a good showing in racing. He added to his night by getting a 20 in freestyle and flipping just a bit early. It was a very solid night for the Bear Foot team.

John Everett made another trip to the semi finals, and had another good freestyle run. He is really starting to raise the intensity, and he scored a 25 with a solid run.

Mike Alston wanted to add a great freestyle run to his impressive racing sporting that retro body Goldberg, and he did just that, scoring a 25 with some great-looking wheelies and the usual big air we come to expect from him.

David Stewart had a great going in his Hot Shoe Ford, but it was cut short because of an endo over the quad hills. He scored an 18.

Bigfoot T-Wrecks came out next, with Cory Schwab driving it as usual. He had a lot of wheelies and some nice air, and scored a 23.

Robbie Milburn brought out Demolition Man and once again lived up to the truck's name, scoring a 20 with a little bit of momentum trouble, however, he ended with a nice rollover, nosediving the truck into the quad hills after a couple of aggressive moves.

Other scores were as follows:

Bill Haught (Freak of Nature)-18

Dustin Hart (Pure Adrenalin)-18

Eddie Carmichael (Bigfoot X)-21

Josh Rhodes (XFA Racer, subbing for PitBUL)-18

Eric Thiele (Grave Digger 20th)-17

Brandonscr (El Toro Loco)-Did not freestyle, mechanical problems.

Corey Davis had a breakout week last week freestyling the Reptoid, and tonight he stayed consistent. He had a little bit of everything in his run, including but not limited to doing some donuts, hitting every obstacle on the track, an amazing one wheeled save over the quad hills, and also some wheelies. For this, the judges awarded him a perfect 30 that raised some eyebrows among the spectators and even Corey himself. "I didn't feel like that was a '30' run," he said. "I don't know if it was good enough to win, but the judges were a little generous." Nevertheless, Corey's run was outstanding, and congratulations to him on winning tonight's freestyle competition. Pictures from Corey's winning freestyle are below. See you next week at World Finals 2!
