FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTS
Now that racing was done, the crowd in Vegas got pumped up for freestyle. With the carnage that had already taken place during racing, they expected freestyle to be no different. Halid "Bull" Kurtic came out first, and looked to close in on Josh Rhodes' freestyle points lead, but could not, getting crooked over this railcar after hitting it and scoring a 10. He will be sure to come back next week and try to run Dig down again.

Josh Rhodes was the very next person out to freestyle, and he wanted to increase his lead over Bull in freestyle, but he too flipped early, catching some incredible air off of a bus pyramid and twisting his truck into the air, then violently slamming it down on its side and over it went. Dig scored a 12.

After two crazy runs, nobody seemed to be able to last more than 30 seconds or so on the track. Robbie Milburn changed that, freestyling Black Stallion to a 21, and then his brother Glen came out and topped his score, getting a 22!

Robby Haught was very disappointed with his racing at the three Vegas tracks, and he turned Skitso 4 loose in freestyle here at World Finals 3, pulling an incredible flip and save over a van and getting the crowd on its feet screaming. After he fired the truck back up and continued, he hit a few more jumps, then flipped the truck again, this time for good though, and scored a 22 to tie for the lead.

John Everett was still stoked over his first racing win of the season in Blue Thunder, and he went wild in freestyle, taking on the high jump in the center of the track and clearing the bus/van in REVERSE! Shortly after that, however, he flipped early, scoring a 15.

Robby Haught was pulling double duty tonight, and for the second time this year it was in Freak of Nature, his brother Bill's truck. Bill was sick and couldn't make the show, and Robby won over the fans with a 25, using the whole time and taking on all the obstacles on the track, nosing the truck over on a bus pyramid but saving it.

Dustin Hart has really been freestyling the Pure Adrenalin great lately, trying his best to run the truck hard and make the field for NTNT World Finals 1. Tonight it showed once again, as he took the lead with his usual great momentum and scored a 26.

Corey Davis is another driver who is making big strides in NTNT, and he went out and drove the wheels off of Reptoid, almost literally, pulling a spectacular flip and save end-over-end over the big jump in the center of the track, then continuing his run. He scored a 27 and took the lead by a point with one truck left to go...

Other scores were as follows:
Eddie Carmichael (Bigfoot X)-21
Alex Weber (Bear Foot)-21
Slickster (Sudden Impact)-16
John Everett (Team Meents, subbing for Mike Alston)-24
Eric Thiele (Grave Digger 20th Anniversary)-8
Tonight, however, one driver stood a little taller than the rest in freestyle, and that driver was David Stewart and the Hot Shoe Ford. David took on everything out on the track, quite an accomplishment for a two minute run, kept up great momentum, used all his time, and pulled some great saves. He would take his first win of the season in freestyle and first win in NTNT with a 29. Congratulations to David on a great run; see you next week!
