Corey Davis came into NTNT's first season as a relative newcomer to racing (although he'd won his fair share of freestyle titles already) and shocked the field, winning the inaugural race at East Coast Monster Jam. The first race proved to be no fluke, and Corey had an outstanding season, making many final-round appearances and staying consistent, one of the goals he outlined in speaking with NTNT at the start of the season. That consistency earned him a berth in NTNT World Finals 1, where he had the field covered in qualifying. Davis was one bad jump away from being the World Finals 1 Racing Champion in Kill Devil Hills against Mike Alston, and he hasn't forgotten it. He translated his frustration into a brilliant Summer Series season, finishing second in racing overall and third in freestyle. We'll see if the guy known as the nicest and fairest in MTM2 racing can continue to improve the way he has-if he does, his competitors could be in for a world of hurt at the fangs of the Reptoid!
