.:Gundam Seed:.
What do you get if you mix MS Gundam,Wing, and Zeta together? Well you'll get Gundam Seed in the end,but not as well
animated nor as well of a storyline either. Following the conclusion of 1999's Turn A Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is
Bandai's move to bring the franchise into the 21st century. Directed by Mitsuo Fukuda (Future GPX Cyber Formula and Gear
Fighter Dendoh). The series began broadcasting in October 2002 in Japan and ended in September 2003. In March 2004,
'Special Edition' compilation episodes began airing in Japan.

.:Story:.
"Year 70 of the Cosmic Era. Due to the 'Bloody Valentine' tragedy, tensions between Earth and the PLANTs escalated into
armed conflict. Noone doubted that the numerically superior Earth forces would be victorious, but these early predictions
proved to be mistaken. The war became a stalemate, which has lasted for eleven months..."
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, one of many chapters in the Gundam saga, is set in a future world - unrelated to that of previous
Gundam series - in which the years are reckoned by the Cosmic Era (C.E.) calendar. Like other Gundam stories, Gundam Seed
chronicles a conflict between the people of Earth and the inhabitants of orbital space colonies, but here the root of the
conflict is biological rather than political. This war is a struggle for supremacy between genetically-enhanced
"Coordinators" and the unmodified "Naturals" of Earth, and the hero of the story is a young Coordinator Kira Yamato who is
forced to fight against his own kind in order to protect the lives of his friends and loved ones.
.:Dubbing:.
Bandai Ent once again teams up with Ocean Group to dub an anime and as always turns out to be good. Not as mindblowing as
Cowboy Bebop or Macross Plus, but is still enjoyable to watch the series. The audio palys out well with no leging nor any
unesessary comments from the cast that few anime distributors tend to add in.
.:Voice Actors:.
The voice acting in the series is well done, just like the rest of the other Gundam series.
Few of the voice actors in the series seem to be new,but most are familier. Voices of few of the main roles are played by
Matt Hill as "Kira",which did make a good choice for this role. Tabitha St. Germain as "Flay" made a good voice for this role
as well. One of the most familier voices would be Brad Swaile as "Dearka" and most fans would know him as the voices of
"Amuro Ray" (MS Gundam,Zeta,Char's Counterattack) or "Quatre Raberba Winner" (Gundam Wing).
.:ArtWork:.
Gundam Seed's animation isn't as well made compeared to the other Gundam series.
At times the animation is leging in explotions, fights, and other events.
Sunrise did not spend much money on this series, and because of this the animation is
doll. This time around Gundam Seed turned out to be a bright colored anime rather than being a more
darker like the other Gundam series. At times in the series their would be 3D animation appering, but for short
amount of time. Only the dog-like Zaku mobile suits called "LaGOWE" or "BuCUE" apper in 3D a few times in the seires. Mostly the
LaGOWE/BuCUE's are drawn, which makes them look better with the rest of the mecha in the series. It would cost less to keep the
LaGOWE/BuCUE's in 3D than to keep redrawing them.
.:Music:.
Gundam Seed has a good soundtrack with music composed by Toshihiko Sahashi, which composed music for such
anime as "Big O,Angel Links, and Steel Angel Kurumi". The music isn't as good as Turn A Gundam's or Gundam Wing's,but still
has that Two-Mix feel to them.
