The two companies will form a joint venture, with Dentsu arranging for the rights to various shows and Shanghai Electric managing the distribution in China. Capital for the joint venture is 20 million Yuan (US$2.4 million approx), 51 percent supplied by Shanghai Electric and 49% by Dentsu. Dentsu Inc., the largest advertising agency brand and the fifth largest marketing and communications organization in the world, is the parent company of Geneon Entertainment and Geneon Entertainment USA. Meanwhile, it was announced in a Chinese Newspaper yesterday that China Movie Co. ltd.
