IF YOU WISH TO ADOPT, HERE ARE THE RULES:
1. You must have a "Lord of the Rings" related website, or at least give me sufficient reason for wanting to adopt a "Lord of the Rings" character.
(You do not need to have any website if you just want to stick them on your own desktop)
2. Your site must not contain ANY kind of pornography nor slash --
( I know it's out there, there's a lot of it, and you know who you are! )
I also do not want to see LINKS to pornographic sites or slash sites, either. These sites are very common, and not always easy to avoid, especially if I include the numerous, often well-done fan sites. So if your site has either slash, X-rated material or links to such, I will not be able to give you permission to use my animations,
("Mature" material, which is not pornographic, but unsuitable for young readers, will be idenified as such. I hope this does not offend some people, but those are my rules.)
3. VERY IMPORTANT !!! You must link back to me, using one of the three banners shown below.
This page should not allow for direct linking -- thank goodness -- so to capture the image, left-click with your mouse and save it to your own files.
In recent the past, on three separate occasions, my website was literally shut down because of improperly adopted animations, and other pilfered graphics that were not even being offered for adoption. Some people did this because they honestly did not understand how bandwidth works, but others used this "shortcut" deliberately, without concern for the consequences.
Don't forget to post an adoption banner, linked to the Mathoms Homepage. I've worked hard on these graphics, and I deserve getting the credit.
4. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT !!! You MUST email me the URL of your website, and also tell me which page the graphics are being placed on so that I can see what you've done with my little critters, send you the correct address to link to, and make sure that the site is acceptable.
Don't forget to take one of these banners and link it back to this address:http://www.hostultra.com/~daisybtoes/mathoms.html
