elcome to our hearth and home, where tales large and small are spun and told. I hope that you enjoy reading them, as they are written by many different Hobbits from 'round and about the Shire.

We welcome your stories large and small, too. There are just a few simple rules to remember.

First of all, the stories must be family friendly, and contain nothing you wouldn't want your whole family reading. That means no "adult" material, no "slash". I won't even consider such stories. There are quite enough of them, and those who want them already know how to find them.

Second, When submitting your story or poem, please identify whether or not it is based on the original books or on the movie. As most of you know, they are often quite different.

Third, I prefer stories about the Hobbits. Elves, Dwarves, Humans and orcs, etc. are welcome in supporting roles, but this site is (and has always been) primarily about Hobbits.

Fourth, I do retain the right to edit for punctuation, spelling, or glaring errors. I will not change the content of any story without permission from the author.

Last but not least, stories should be submitted in the form of .txt files if at all possible, and sumitted to me at pandro42@yahoo.com
