Welcome to the Town of Titipu!

This is, Titipu according to the world of the Sims - the most original and best-loved computer toy in history.

If you are looking to find a Titipu that conforms strictly to the universe of Gilbert & Sullivan, you will probably be disappointed, but that's the nature of the Sims Universe--predictably unpredictable. So, just sit back and enjoy yourself, and let your imagination go for a little while.

We have a story to tell, about adventures in a legendary town in a make-believe Japan. On the Hill in the valley, dwell most of the old gang from Gilbert & Sullivan's play, "The Mikado". Koko still lives in his palace with the Three little Maids, Yum-Yum, Peep-Bo,and Pitti-Sing. Rich, snobbish Pooh-Bah lives in the second-best house in Titipu, and next door to him is the castle steward, Pish-Tush and his silent sidekick, Goto. One house has two samurai and their wives, another house has four very eligible young samurai bachelors. Nanki-Poo lives in a thatched cottage, raising chickens, while hoping to meet Yum-Yum. Katisha lives secretly in a fine house across the road, with her personal bodyguard, who is utterly loyal to her.
Then there are the others!
A quick glance at the town map will give you some idea of the sort of people living in Titipu, though not one of them, of course, was ever mentioned by Gilbert & Sullivan. If you are wondering who they are and what they are all up to, you will find out soon enough, never fear.
Now,if you think you already know this story, you're in for a surprise. There is a new one in the works! There are no guarantees as to the outcome, and who knows where it all may lead? And this, my friends,is our story so far!
One upon a time, Titipu was a pleasant, peaceful little town, snuggled in the mountains northeast of Edo, sometime more or less in the Mythial Japanese Past. This idyllic scene was not, however, destined to remain unchanged!
It all began the morning that the Titipu silk farmers began their annual trek to the city of Edo, which had always involved a long, slow journey down a dirt-and-gravel highway through the moutain passes. Lo and behold, one fateful summer morning it was discovered thatthe old Titipu-Edo Highway had been covered over with 20th Century railroad tracks, and a super-fast "bullet train" was now running round trips to Edo. Edo had been renamed "Tokyo". That was just the beginning!
Although Titipu was existing in the Mythical Japanese Past, some sort of warp in Time had occurred, and they suddenly had complete access to the 21st Century!
No one understood why these things were happening, but it may have had something to do with the strange foreign man who began knocking on everyone's doors, dressed in a pink blazer, and a pink tie with red hearts. At every door, he left a large package with the return address,

"J.W.Wells, Respectable Family Sorcerers, St.Mary's Axe, UK"

This was, of course, very suspicious since no one had ever ordered anything from Respectable Family Sorcerers, and many people refused to open the packages - at first!
It did not take long before the boxes began to be undone...
If you want to meet the people of Titipu and find out what happens to them next, then stay tuned. There will be plenty of adventures coming, and some of them might surprise you.

Come to our Christmas Party!
