The next morning Sonrisa wakes up. She sits up looking over at her soon to be husband lying on his stomach. His little white Mohawk is all mussed up and he had drooled on his pillow.
She giggles to herself, at the site. But she can’t get over how cute he looks lying there, so peaceful and snuggled in the sheets.
There is a knock at the door and Sonrisa walks over to the door and opens it. It is Kibito.
"Kai is still in bed. Want me to wake him up?" She asks.
"Yes, if you would." He replies.
She walks over to the bed and gentlely shakes Kai. He wakes and sits up on the bed.
"Hon, Kibito is here." She says.
"Thanks. What time is it?" He asks.
"It is 12:00pm." Kibito says.
"Oh man I better start to get ready. Sonrisa you do the same." He says. "There is a bathroom down the hall there. I will have some one bring your dress around."
"Ok." She says with a smile.
She walks out of the room and down the hall. She enters the bathroom where he told her. She takes off her clothes and grabs a wash cloth and towel. She hopes into the shower and washes herself. About 15 minutes later she hopes out and dries off. The dress hanging on a rack near the linen closet. She takes it off the hanger and puts it on.
She walks out of the bathroom. Kibito is outside the room.
"Come with me. It’s time." He says.
"Ok." She replies.
They walk up the same hallway they used yesterday to get to the arena. They get to the arena door. Kibito opens the door and wedding music begins to play. Kai is seen stand at the front with the Grand Kai. Sonrisa walks arm in arm with Kibito to the end of the aisle. She takes her place beside Kai. Kibito then walks to the other side as the best man.
"Well if everyone is ready let get this show on the road." Grand Kai says.
Kai and Sonrisa stand smiling at each other while waiting for Grand Kai to perform the ceremony.
"Well since no one said anything, I will proceed with this thing. Ok we are gathered her today to join this man and woman in matrimony. Now Supreme Kai do you take Sonrisa to be your Wife?" Grand Kai says.
"I do." He says smiling over at Sonrisa.
"Sonrisa, do you take the Supreme Kai to be your husband?" He asks.
"I do." She replies.
"Supreme Kai you may now kiss your bride." He says as the arena full of people cheer.
Kai grabs Sonrisa and they kiss. They turn and walk out of the arena. They enter the dining room where there is a huge feast waiting.
They walk over and Kai pulls a chair out for her. She sits down. He sits down in the chair on the right of her.
They put some food on their plates as well as the guests. They all sit and eat.
About 20 minute later after everyone is finished eating; Grand Kai stands up and raises his glass.
"I would like to propose a toast to the newly weds. I would to wish them the best in the marriage and hope that they have many years and children." He says.
They guest raise their glasses in approval of the brief speech.
Everyone gets up and leaves. Kai and Sonrisa walk toward the exit of the Grand Kai home along with Grand Kai. They walk outside.
Grand Kai says, "Congratulations. I guess you are leaving now."
Kai replies, "Yea, we are going to talk about where to go for the honeymoon."
"I hear Florida is great this time of year." Grand Kai says.
"Thanks, we will consider that." Kai says.
Kibito walks out the door. They wave to the Grand Kai and Sonrisa climbs on Kai’s back and they fly home.
(About 3 Hours Later)
They arrive back at Supreme Kai’s home. Sonrisa hopes down from Kai’s back.
"Hon, I’m tired." she says.
"Yea, I am a little tired to. Let go up to bed." He says.
They enter the house. Kai and Sonrisa walk up the stairs. They walk down the hall that leads to his bedroom.
His bedroom is much more decorated then the one she had slept in before they got married. His bed is much larger then the small one in her old room.
She walks over to the bed and sets down. She unzips the dress. She takes her off and lays it on a dresser at the foot of his bed. She slides back on the bed and pulls the sheets over her, and watches as Kai gets ready for bed.
He takes off his pants and sets down on the bed. He lifts his shirt over his head and lies back. He turns toward Sonrisa and they kiss. They continue kissing for a few minutes and then drift off to sleep in each other’s arms.
