 Na Ja (Benny Chan)'s
former life was Fo Tak Sing Kwan who was killed by Shang Dynasty General Lee
Ching (Yuen Wah)'s arrow. In his reincarnation, he becomes Lee's third son! The
previous life's vengeance can be seen in this life as Na Ja is never at peace
with his father; this not quite human and not quite demon son is still a worry
for Lee and he sends him away. Na Ja's life isn't quite over as he is adopted
and becomes a general in his teens using his magical powers. He is reunited with
his parents, but not only does he not recognize his mother on three occasions,
he also gives his bone to his father and his flesh to his mother. Although Na Ja
is allowed to live on, he becomes a lotus root man, but his pride and
determination makes him even harder to bear. At this time, King Jou (Cheng Chi
Shing) is obsessed with his concubine Gei Dan (Irene Wan)'s beauty which is
great enough to bring down cities and countries.
 With the support of his natural
mother and his good friends, Na Ja regains his confidence to fight the ruthless
King, but he falls into Gei Dan's trap which leaves him fighting his own father
