Lam Ho Suet (Lisa Wong) was left in a coma after a traffic accident sixteen years ago, and miraculously wakes up from her sleep. From the support from her never fading husband Suen Hok Kei (Damien Lau), intelligent and loving elder daughter Suen Hing Ka (Maggie Cheung), timid son Suen Hing Chai (Patrick Tang), youngest daughter Suen Hing Yan (Tavia Yeung) and good friend Chiu Cheuk Lam (Louisa So) - Suet faces up strongly to her responsibilities as mother and wife and to keep together this family which has just been reunited.

However, Hok Kei and Cheuk Lam have a strong relationship; Chai and Yan want to leave home to pursue their ambitions and only Ka shares the dream of having a warm and complete family. When Suet finds out about everything, she doesn't want to keep Kei from his wishes and divorces him. She also encourages Chai and Yan to go and find their goals and Ka will not forgive her mother for doing this to the family. On the other hand, the man who caused the accident and Suet's coma Fong Chin Pang (Lo Hoi Pang) has been bearing the guilt of his mistake all this time and his son Fong Shing Him (Joe Ma) coindentally saves the mother daughter relationship between Suet and Ka.

Suet regains the support of Ka and finds a new start in her fifties and Hok Kei finds a whole new feeling towards Suet...
