As Wai (Paul Chun Pui), an insurance agent, lost his wife many years ago, he loves his only daughter Yee (Miriam Yeung Chin Wah) ardently. Learning from his sister Mei's (Kingdom Yuen King Dan) poor marriage, Wai is very nervous about Yee's boyfriends. When Wai realizes that Yee's boyfriend, who just returns from abroad, is lewd, he then reminds Yee of that. However, Yee doesn't believe and they get into quarrel.

Wai's partner Chung (Nick Cheung Ka Fai) tries to settle their dispute. Unexpectedly, love germinates between Yee and Chung. Furthermore, Chung is being asked to join another group due to his excellent performance in his work. Wai dislikes very much. He tries to destroy this young couple and creates lots of fun. Finally, Yee and Chung overcome all difficulties and get married. And Wai uses every means to interfere their daily life.

On the other hand, Wai and his cool boss Nam (Louisa So Yuk Wah) fall in love because of some misunderstanding. However, Nam's father Kin (Wong Sun) acts unfriendly towards Wai, which makes Wai regret of his poor attitude to Chung. Meanwhile, Yee and Chung intend to get divorce due to some minor issue. In order to maintain his daughter's marriage, Wai and Yee's best friends Sze (Gigi Fu Ming Hin) and Fai (Michael Tse) try their best to solve their misunderstanding.
