Untraceable Evidence portrays the importance of forensic science in criminal cases investigation.

Yin (Flora Chan) decided to be a coroner to fulfil her father's will and uphold justice. Whereas Yin's elder sister, Yee (Chan Mei Kee) is a famous columnist and also a popular compeer in a TV program. She helped people solve their family and love problem but failed to get along well with her daughter, June June (Margaret Chung Lai Kei).

June came across Kiu (Marco Lo Man Kit), who also works in the forensic field. June knew that Kiu has secretly admired a female cop, Choi Siu Tong (Lee San San) whom has already got somebody in mind. Not long afterwards, Kiu was suspected to be the murderer of his girlfriend Nai (Chan Yin Hang). June, Yin and Kiu's brother, Yuen (Bowie Lam) joined to investigate the murder case to save Kiu. Yin and Yuen then fell in love with each other. Unfortunately, it was at this moment that Yuen was assassinated and is seriously injured by bombs ...
