Cleopatra 2525

Creegan

This summary is from the old Studios USA website. It is written from the viewpoint of Hel:

I'm in the lab with Sarge who is getting a nice massage from Mauser when Cleo shows up modeling her new digs. She asks for our opinions, but before I can give her the honest truth, she is grabbed from behind by a deformed hand. I manage to pull the hand off of her, giving her a chance to run away. The next thing that I spot is a deformed mutant humanoid. The Voice asks me what is happening, but I really do not know what to respond. Everyone looks to me for answers, when suddenly I spot an entire gang of mutants. I am able to push Cleo out of their way before they storm the entrance to the lab and open fire on us. We all exchange fire and then finally I take cover under a table near Sarge, who has just fired some shots of her own at the mutants. I look up only to see a handsome man enter the room -- or so I think is a handsome man. When I get a closer look I see that one side of his face is actually scarred from his throat down to his chest. The other side is handsomely evil. I can't believe my eyes when I see who it is. It's Creegan. He announces that he wants Mauser. The Voice immediately asks me whether or not Mauser is in a secure place. Unknowingly, Mauser emerges from his sheltered alcove only to be seen by Creegan. It is at that moment that Creegan gets Mauser straight in the chest and tears him apart. The mutants gather up his pieces and dash back into the shaft. Cleo thinks he's dead, but I have to tell her that he is just off-line. The Voice tells me that even though he is off-line Creegan can still get top secret information from Mauser. Before we know it, Creegan has Mauser and they are nowhere to be found.

Inside the mutant's lab Mauser is strapped in place while the mutants attach all kinds of hoses to his head, neck and shoulders. The three of us, one of us a little more uneasy than the others (Cleo, of course!) rappel down a shaft. Believe it or not, I'm actually able to get a trace with Mauser. I don't know what prompts me to tell the team a secret that I have kept to myself for a long time. I tell everyone that it was Creegan who murdered my entire family. The Voice guides us directly into the mutant's lab. Creegan is asking Mauser where he can find the homing device and Mauser, briliantly gives him an answer that he cannot even remotely understand. Creegan proves how angry this makes him when he twists an incision tool directly into Mauser's head. The three of us know that we are close to the lab thanks to the Voice. Suddenly though, we lose communication. There's a lot of static. Instead of the Voice, I hear Creegan. Creegan tells me that Mauser is telling him everything about me and about other people who are looking to get rid of Betrayers. Without warning, a high pitched intolerable screeching sound leaves me unable to stand.

After getting Cleo to help me back into the tunnel, I think that I am able to go on, but I'm not. The noise reaches a deafening level and Sarge has to help me down to a landing. I want the other girls to go on without me, but they both agree that we are team. The girls are determined to use an x-ray device to look up my jaw for the Voice receptor. In the lab Creegan manages to gain access to Mauser's secure files. One of the images he sees is mine. Cleo finally sweeps the device up my jaw and manages to pull the receptor from behind my ear, bringing the noise to an end. When I regain consciousness, I realize that I owe Cleo a huge thank you.

The three of us storm the lab and have to dodge mutant lasers. I am able to aim at Creegan, but he starts shooting rapid fire at me. His biggest fear is securing the plasma that he has removed from Mauser. I shoot down one mutant at time while Cleo and Sarge rip the hoses off of Mauser. Between Sarge and I we are about to fire enough powerful shots from the Bailey weapon to send Creegan through the blown-out side wall of the lab. Once there is no trace of Creegan, we are able to watch as Mauser is reassembled. Cleo is the one who reinserts the Voice receptor -- and I realize that she really has pulled her weight on our team.
