Cleopatra 2525

Flying Lessons

This summary is from the old Studios USA website. It is written from the viewpoint of Hel:

Sarge and I are teaching Cleo how to rappel down a shaft and she is getting all positive thinking on us. Sarge finally gives Cleo what she really needs a good shove off the ledge with her heel. I'm telling you it was the only way to get her off of that ledge! She doesn't handle being in the air very well all by her lonesome and we have to remind her that if she wants to be a part of our team, she's got to fly. The next thing that we know a woman is being chased by a freaky looking mutant. He grabs her and an older man stumbles after them. This woman somehow manages to break free from the mutant, but then falls off the edge, smashing into Cleo. The two fall past a few levels when the mutant reaches out and grabs her onto a level. The next thing we know enemy mutants are firing shots at us so what do we do we fire back! Just when we think we have successfully eliminated all of the mutants Cleo realizes that the mutant has the girl. We manage to get to a landing where we meet up with the old man - who turns out to be this young girl's father, Thusel. He tells us that the men that we have been shooting at are Mordecis. I have to explain to Cleo that they are actually mutants from the lower levels who come up here to harvest specimans that they actually sell to experimental labs. Cleo makes a promise that I really do not think that we can keep to Thusel the safe return of his daughter. I feel like if we stop along the way to do these little missions - we'll never free the surface of Bailies.

The three of us drop way down to one of the lower levels and enter a trader bar. Once we are all inside all we can see are scary looking men - many of whom are mutants with extra eyes, animal heads and enormously huge bodies. We all spot this cage off to the side that has a half naked woman inside. My eyes immediately catch a table where mutant traders are playing a game. Just then Ek, the freaky looking mutant, walks up to the table and puts up holographic images for us to see. I then figure out that the girl must be in the holding room with the other specimens because I see a hologram of her. Cleo gives a little dance lesson to the person in the cage in order to divert everyone's attention while Sarge and I plan to go find Thusel's daughter. The entire place loves Cleo's moves. Sarge and I don't get why this is so special but hey, if it works, it works! Then I get an idea - I stand up and get everyone in the bar's attention. I offer Cleo up as a bet, asking them who wants to play me for her. Sarge and Cleo watch as I begin to beat these mutants at their own little game. You would not believe how much these mutants want our little Cleo! I actually manage to win back captured specimens. Thusel comes into the bar and almost ruins everything, but thanks to a very quick thinking Cleo we are temporarily saved. When he announces that he is looking for his daughter, Cleo the born actress pretends to be his missing daughter. In my final bet I tell Ek that he has to put up all of his specimens and that I will put up myself. I successfully play their little game - pulling one of the pieces out from this structure on a table without causing the whole thing to fall. When he does it, it comes crashing down. As promised all of the specimens enter into the bar, including Thusel's daughter. Just when we think we are home free, Ek reminds us that we are not. After Sarge and I work our magic on the mutants, none are left standing. While we battle it out, Cleo hides the girl under the table. We definitely make some friends after we set the specimens free. After it's all over, the only thing that I can think about though is finding some real men!
