This summary is from the old Studios USA website. It is written from the viewpoint of Cleopatra:
OK, so that was like the weirdest trip ever....It all began with Sarge in feline gear sporting feline moves, in a bar full of mutants. (Who knew tank girl could gyrate like that?) She was wearing some weird collar that was set to detonate if she left the premises, so time (as it always is with these chicks) was of the essence... Voice had told us that we had to get at a pod in the room that contained vital information: a detailed map of the Underground.
Hel, Mauser and I were tracking her every move, and giving her advice along the way. Hel told her that the pod was in this guy's stomach - problem was the guy was some mutant bigwig, who I thought kinda looked like a bowl of cellulite (nastiness!!!) So Sarge sidled her way over to him, all cat-like, and reached inside his slimy belly and pulled out the pod (in typical Sarge form, she then blasted the fatty with his bodyguard's gun - yeah!) So Sarge starts running, and the countdown until her collar blows up begins...
Then the freakiest part came: Voice insisted I go in to help Sarge...alone. "Me?" was all I could think, until Mauser began to load the graphic of every known variable between the lab and the exit point, giving me a gauntlet. (Hello? Can anyone say inexperienced?) No time to be wimpy, though - so I started running like hell....
But I was too late....Sarge's collar exploded - and her with it.....I started to cry, until I woke up in the same chair next to Mauser (OK - a simulation of what could happen...)
Mauser told me to concentrate again, but Sarge died again...(This was like a bad episode of Lassie - you know, when you think he's dead....but then...) Anyway, I set out for the last time...
Mauser sent me into the portal - for real, this time. I ran as fast as I could, and finally reached Sarge, but there was a huge canyon between us... She looked at the pod, then at me, then at the pod. (Now this was really like a movie I'd seen...) Finally I told her to throw it - which she did. Thank God I actually caught it - I had to do some of those breathing exercises from acting class to prepare myself. So Sarge finally got the collar off her neck, and leaped over to my side of the chasm - but she missed and barely caught the landing. I started to lose her (unlike them, I haven't been lifting steel blocks in my spare time)...until Hel showed up and caught her, doing her flying maneuver trick.
Point is, I actually was a necessary part of this mission. In fact, I might go as far as to say I was central to it. Oh, and Sarge has been smiling a lot more lately... Naturally she would never tell me I'd saved her life - but a few of us know better...
