This summary is from the old Studios USA site. It was written from the viewpoint of Jack Stiles:
Here I am making the moves on Nicole, a woman that I just saved from a Canadian fort, when her uncle or should I say, President Jefferson, interrupts to tell me that I have to trade my life in the great U.S of A for a life on an island called Pulau Pulau. Talk about ruining the mood! Mr. President tells me that this small French dictator named Napoleon Bonaparte seems to think he has the right to invade this island in the East Indies. Would you believe he actually told me that he wants me, Jack Stiles, to be the man who saves the free world from this guy's advances. Honestly, I would have done it anyway, the thought of speaking French turns my stomach.
When I arrive on Pulau Pulau I am greeted by a beautiful woman - and I mean beautiful. My first thought is "Hey, this little assignment may not be half bad." But when my beauty tells me that she is my contact on the island and that I am to take my marching orders from her -- well, that isn't Jack Stile's game. Emilia -- that's her name -- has been herself working for the Queen of England to subvert the advances of this island's corrupt French leader, Croque -- oh, and did I mention that he is the brother of little Napoleon. No matter how many times I tell her the way that I like to operate, she tells me that she is running the show. She does have one thing that I don't have-- the friendship of the President of the United States. She tours me around her secret laboratory and makes it abundantly clear that we will never be doing anything that requires privacy - if you catch my drift!
Emilia and I head off to Croque's mansion -- I call it a mansion because it has one hundred bathrooms in all, to see if we can swipe a copy of their top secret attack orders. I brilliantly excuse myself, leaving Emilia to babble about loading taxes. Brogard, the equally corrupt Captain of Brogard's forces, starts to wonder if the earth has swallowed me up. I have to think quickly --and quickly I do think!. Emilia's undergarments become my ticket. I know that it sounds crazy, but they help me to create the perfect disguise. I, Jack Stiles, am completely tranformed into the Daring Dragoon -- a local folk hero. This island is really in need of a hero and I am desperate for a way to mask my identity when I fight my enemies on this island. I think it's a great front, but Emilia disagrees. She even goes as far as threaten to have me replaced. She changes her tune rather quickly when the costume - or should I say the person wearing it -- saves her from Brogard after she leaves a set of track marks for all to find. When the dust settles, a grateful Emilia realizes that there really is a method to my madness.
