This summary is from the old Studios USA site. It was written from the viewpoint of Jack Stiles:
Emilia and I are doing business with who I think is an overweight, out to cheat me street vendor called Abdullah when I find out that he is actually an operative from England who is here to give my partner her latest orders from the crown. Apparently, the only supercannon on Pulau Pulau is scheduled to be tested. If all goes well, the French will use it to their advantage and attack Emilia's mother country from across the channel. Then out of nowhere and I mean nowhere two watermelon explode on either side of my head. Talk about flying fruit! Right before my very eyes stands a masked person armed with a couple of fast-shooting pistols. One bullet after another fly in my direction and somehow I manage to dive out of the line of fire each time. The mystery shooter reloads, pulling bullets out of some very strange orifices. I try to get close to the person who clearly wants to see me as a chalk outline while keeping myself out of sight. As soon as I get close that the person manages to wrap me up like a mummy. When I turn the tables on the shooter and gain the upper hand in this battle, I can finally rip off this coward's mask. The next thing that I know our lips are locked tighter than the lock on a prison cell door. There is only one woman that can kiss like that and her name is Kentucky Sue.
Neither my old partner Kentucky Sue nor my current partner are pleased to make each other's acquaitance. To be perfectly honest and not to flatter myself, but I really think that these women are a little green with envy. I mean, I can understand it, given my rugged good looks and charismatic personality. My old Kentucky Sue begins to pose a very deep question that requires a well thought out answer so it is a good thing that I spot a longshoreman being harrassed by a French soldier over something relating to customs. I sneak away and reappear as the Daring Dragoon, dunking one of the French soldiers in a barrel of coffee like he was a donut. Kentucky knows it is me all along. I should have realized that there is no getting anything past this girl. Emilia is all worried about me losing sight of the fact that we have to find and destroy the cannon. She feels that my old friend Kentucky is not going to help our situation, if anything, she thinks it will hurt our little mission. In a way, I agree.
When we're at a dinner party at Gov Croque's mansion my old partner asks me to be her mate for better or worse if you catch my drift. She goes the whole nine yards and sticks a ring on my finger. When I have to decline her offer, she really falls hard. I seem to do that to women. This one though, comes out fighting rather than shedding tears. When it seems as though she is about to reveal that I am the Daring Dragoon to Croque in retaliation for my rejection, I immediately introduce her as my blushing financee. I also clue him in on the fact that the Dragoon is looking for the supercannon. Even though I am told that the cannon is well hidden, I somehow manage to convince them that they can catch the Dragoon if they put the infamous cannon out for all to see. They actually buy my little plan and agree to do it. If I must say so, I'm quite good!
After nearly being killed by a scorned Kentucky, I have no choice but to tell her the truth. I have to do a lot of apologizing after I tell her that I left her because I had orders to kill her all those years ago. Back in town, Croque unveils the cannon for all to see. I manage to cause serious chaos when I enter as the Dragoon, giving Emilia ample opportunity to climb over the cliff with her explosive cannonball. When she is spotted by Croque, it seems as though she is a goner. Kentucky really comes to her rescue when she aims her pistol at Croque's sword, blowing that and his hair into the air. Working together, Emilia manages to deposit a cannonball down the barrel of the supercannon followed by Kentucky taking aim and firing at it. The cannon explodes and we all get the hell out of there. My old partner and I are able to put the past behind us before she heads back to the states. Who would have ever guessed though that Kentucky Sue and Emilia would get all chummy and sisterly
