Jack of all Trades

Croquey in the Pokey

Croque has been sent to the island's prison for attempting to assassinate Napoleon. Croque's busty wife Camille is appointed the new Governor of Pulau Pulau. After getting a glimpse of Napoleon’s handwritten order, Emilia suspects something is fishy when the ink isn't smudged like any of his other handwriting. While she attempts to prove the Governor is innocent, the British beauty suggests to Jack that he get himself thrown into the prison to protect Croque from all the islanders he’s sent there. Jack is hesitant to go along with Emilia's plans, forcing her to create a situation where it appears her attache is fondling her without her consent. Ever the one to get Jack Stiles thrown in jail, Captain Brogard arrests the American spy for his “crime”.

After bidding the stuffed moo-cow Mister Nipples goodbye, a dejected Croque prepares to hang himself in his cell. Luckily, Jack is tossed into the cell just in time to save him. Sadly, the same can’t be said for Mr Nipples, who rolls out of the cell in the process, only to be beheaded by a prison guard who tromps over him. Jack informs Croque of Emilia’s plan. During work detail, an inmate named Kiki remembers that it was Croque who imprisoned his circus troupe and him for supposedly performing an anti-French act. In the prison yard, Kiki approaches Croque with a steel bar. He's about to attack the Frenchman when Jack intervenes to calm the two down. But Kiki won’t listen to reason. The inmate knocks Jack over the head with the bar. He then attacks Croque until the head prison guard breaks up the roughhousing.

After reading the document that Napoleon supposedly sent to have his brother incarcerated, Emilia can confirm that Camille wrote it to setup her husband. Emilia goes to tell Jack the truth. During the prisoner’s dinnertime, Jack and Croque devise a plan to break out of jail, however, Croque won't go without the other inmates. Realizing what the prisoners go through on a daily basis has turned Croque into a different person. He vows to change his ways and pardon all the inmates once free. Knowing this, Kiki and the others agree to help Jack and Croque escape. Taking a different path as Croque and the inmates flee, Jack finds a Daring Dragoon disguise in the prison’s laundry room. After putting it on he fights off the prison guards, allowing the others to make it safely over the prison walls.

After bidding Kiki and his troupe farewell, Jack and Croque return to the Governor's mansion. When Camille is exposed, she reveals that she did what she did because her husband forgot their anniversary. The two make up. Croque is immediately back to his old aristocratic ways. He demands that all the inmates be sent back to the prison, however, since he doesn’t want to have to send his wife to jail for the forgery, Croque decides to pardon Jack for his “crime”.
