After stealing a deed from Governor Croque's safe, the Daring Dragoon runs straight into Emilia's exporting center. French soldiers are in hot pursuit. Emilia refuses to allow any of them into her building without a search warrant. When Jack, back in his normal clothes, opens the door, he mistakenly hits Emilia on the head. Emilia comes to it moments later, but without her memory. Tired of Emilia always acting like a wet blanket, Jack uses this opportunity to convince her that she’s a party animal.
Unable to find the deed at the exporting center, Jack tries to get Emilia to remember where she hid it. All she ends up remembering is the word hog. Assuming the hog merchant Lin Po, who is a secret operative, has the deed in safekeeping, Jack and Emilia pay him a visit. It turns out he doesn’t have it, but thinks Emilia may have meant pig as in the Drunken Pig tavern. They go to talk to the parrot operative Jean-Claude, who is a frequent patron of the establishment. He also doesn’t have the deed. When Jack remembers that the annual running of the pigs is taking place later that day, he decides they should check out the hogpen. Not long after they start, Governor Croque and Captain Brogard show up. They inform Emilia that they now have a warrant to search her exporting center. Things get worse for the two spies when Emilia accidently lets it slip that Jack is the Daring Dragoon. Croque and Brogard don’t believe the “bumbling” Jack could be the Dragoon, but a search of Emilia’s exporting center would prove them wrong.
While Croque and Brogard conduct the search, Jack cleverly hides his Dragoon disguises to keep his secret identity safe. As he prepares to leave, Croque spots a painting he wants by an artist called Jackson Hogg. Jack decides to give it to him as a gift in order to convince the Governor that Emilia told them he was the Dragoon as part of a ruse to get him to come to her exporting center and retrieve the painting. After the grateful Governor and Brogard leave with the painting, Jack realizes that the painting was the "hog" Emilia was referring to. She had hidden the deed on the back of it. Later, Jack returns to the Governor's mansion to steal back the deed. Disguised as the Daring Dragoon, he makes a grand escape battling French soldiers at the same time the running of the pigs kicks off. Emilia hits her head again during the chaos. When she wakes up her memory has returned. Though the mission is a success, Emilia is disappointed with Jack for what he did to her so she docks him his pay for two weeks.
