Who is in the starring cast for season 8?
Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, and Aaron Ashmore will be returning. Former guest star Justin Hartley will be joining the main cast, still portraying Oliver Queen. Though Laura Vandervoort won't be returning as a regular, she will guest star in at least one episode. Two new cast members have been added for season 8.

Who are these new cast members?
Sam Witwer will portray Davis Bloome. Cassidy Freeman will portray Tess Mercer. Bloome is Doomsday, a villian from the comics. Mercer is a new female villian who works for Lex.

How many episodes will Kristin Kreuk be in during season 8?
It looks like she'll be in 5 episodes. The airdates are currently unknown.

Will Michael Rosenbaum be a guest star during season 8?
Nothing is know about that at the present time.

Are you connected to the actual series, actors, etc?
We are NOT connected. All we are is a fansite run by fans.

Will you cover any other Superman stuff?
Nope.

Who wrote the episode summaries?
They are official summaries released to promote the episodes. Season 1 through season 5 were written by someone at the WB Network. Anything beyond was written by the CW Network. They are copyrighted by their original writer, reposted here for nonprofit reason.

Will you have screen captures up from season 8 during the season?
We will add screen captures from the new episodes a few days after they air. When the DVD set is released, those screen captures will be replaced by higher quality ones from the DVD set.

What about complete guest star lists?
The big negative about the show not listing character names alongside the guest starring cast at the end of an episode means we don’t always know who portrayed who. We researched the internet to get as many right as we could, but those we didn’t get are just listed as an actor without the character they played. They are not from that site. We wouldn’t break their rules and post them here since we respect the hard work that site does for the “Smallville” community. The promotional photos we post are ones we have procured from press kits, other media sources, etc that have given us no indication that we can’t post them here as long as we give them proper credit. Does “Smallville” specifically pre-equal any Superman movie, series, or comic?
No. It is, unless otherwise noted in the future, just another origins story.
