After the tragic events of the third season, Gabrielle questions her path in life. An adventure to India changes everything for Gabrielle
as she devotes her life to non-violence. Xena, on the other hand, learns she must follow her same warrior path if she wishes to become a
great peacemaker in a future life. For Joxer, killing someone forces the young warrior wannabe to do some soul searching of his own. But
will soul searching be enough for Xena and Gabrielle to escape a tragic fate shown to them in a vision of the not so far off future?
