Tired of being called a wet blanket by Iolaus and Jason, Hercules decides to become more like his father, who he has heard is quite a "character". He takes in the power of Hephaestus' Olympian forge. The flames bring out a wild side to him. Jason, Iolaus, and him party all night in Corinth. They later crash Kora's inn.
In the morning, Hercules' new attitude turns deadly. He nearly incinerates Lilith when fire spurts from his body. His friends go to see Hephaestus in hopes of saving Hercules before he combusts. Water will do the trick. Realizing Hercules' good-nature will help them, they decide to have Iolaus act like he's drowning. Hercules can't let his friend die so he dives into the lake to save him. When Hercules discovers that Iolaus really can't swim, the demigod isn't all that happy with the way his friends went about saving him. The old Hercules is definitely back!
