Eurydice discovers that Orpheus lied about disposing of Bacchus’ lyre after a group of Bacchae pursue them into the Corinthian marketplace. Luckily, Hercules and Iolaus are on hand to help fend the Bacchae off. Eurydice goes to see Bacchus about releasing his grip on Orpheus. He offers her a deal: marry him and Orpheus will be left alone. In the meantime, Hercules is captured along with Iolaus and Orpheus. Having fallen in love with Hercules, Eurydice can't stand to see either him or Orpheus tortured. She agrees to marry Bacchus in return for their freedom.
When she realizes that Bacchus won't live up to his end of the bargain, the wedding is called off. Hercules and Bacchus engage in an epic battle. Eurydice is killed by Bacchus in the process. Hercules cradles the teenager in his arms as she breathes her last breath.
