Young Hercules

Golden Bow

Hercules, the warlord Rytus, and a masked female archer compete in an archery contest. The prize for first place is the Golden Bow of Artemis. Prince Jason of Corinth presides over the contest. The warlord hits the target in the center thanks to help from the god Strife. Strife uses his powers to blow Hercules' arrow off-track. Hercules learns the girl is really Kora, who gets help from Artemis to win the Golden Bow. She is then hunted down by Rytus and his thugs. Hercules helps her fight them off, but Strife steals the Golden Bow during the skirmish.

It turns out that Kora is Artemis' chosen warrior-servant known as the Huntress. At various times, Artemis bestows special powers upon Kora, turning her from an innmaid beauty into a striking warrior. Kora and Hercules sense out the hideaway that Rytus and Strife are at. Kora becomes a shadow, sneaking past Strife, Rytus and Rytus’ thugs. Hercules and Kora then steal the Golden Bow back. It turns out that Kora wanted the Golden Bow to give to Artemis so she can be free of her servitude to her as the Huntress.

Artemis grants Kora her request. As they try to escape from the cave, Hercules and Kora are captured since Kora can no longer channel the powers that allowed them to come in undetected. After she is forced to watch helplessly as the group overpowers Hercules, Kora begs Artemis to grant her back the ability to change into the Huntress. Moments later, Hercules is saved from certain death by Kora, who once again becomes the Huntress thanks to an understanding Artemis.
