Iolaus needs his friend's help to pass an exam. If he doesn't get a passing grade on it, he will be thrown into prison for failing to meet the demands of his probation. During the night, the other cadets try and help Iolaus study. Iolaus can't seem to get the hang of things. He even considers cheating at one point.
Finally, Iolaus starts talking about a coin that his father brought him from Cirillia. They have Iolaus study that country since fifty percent of the exam grade is an essay on a country. Fiducius spies on the cadets during the night, finding out about their study session. The next morning, Hercules, Jason and Lilith keep hope that Iolaus gets to write on Cirillia. Fiducius whispers something to Cheiron. When the test begins, Cheiron tells the cadets to write about Cirillia. Iolaus ends up passing the exam.
