Young Hercules

My Fair Lilith

Jason learns that King Cadmus is bringing his daughter, Princess Dido, to marry him as a coronation present. Jason doesn't love Dido so he refuses to marry her, however, he can't tell Cadmus that since the King becomes a "hothead" as soon as you refuse his gifts. Hercules and Iolaus convince Lilith to play the role of Jason's wife in order to fool Cadmus into thinking Jason is already married. With Ophistus' help, they try to teach Lilith how to be "Princess Lilith", but she just can't get the hang of the role.

Eventually, Lilith gets into her role as the "Princess of Corinth". She learns from Dido herself that she doesn't want to marry Jason either. She already has a lover named Antos, but her father won't let them marry since Antos is a commoner. Meanwhile, Antos arrives in Corinth intending to stop Jason from marrying Dido, obviously unaware of the fact that Jason has no interest in her. When the truth is eventually revealed, Dido's servant Lady Yeta reminds the hotheaded Cadmus that her sister, his late wife, loved him despite the fact he was a commoner. Cadmus finally decides to accept Antos and Dido's relationship. In place of a bride, Cadmus gives Jason a blender for a coronation present.
