Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough (1979) 
In Michael's first solo video Michael demonstrates his enourmous dance abilities.The entire short 
film includes only Michael (at one point there is three Michaels too!). This short film introduced 
new technology for the era. Michael wears an old-fasioned tuxedo with his old-school afro.

Billie Jean (1983) 
This short film shows Michael on a walk to his girlfriend's house while being followed by a man in a 
trench coat. With every step that Michael takes on the side walk, it lights up. Whenever the man in 
the trench coat tries to take a picture of Michael, he mysteriously disappears. At the time, MTV did      
not play that many videos by black artists. This short film can be credited for making MTV play more 
videos by black artists. Michael wears a black leather tuxedo, a pink shirt, and a red bowtie.

Beat It (1983) 
This short film, which used real gangs from California, showed Michael breaking up a fight and

Thriller (1983) 
In the longest video of all time (14 minutes long) first you see a car pull up on the side of the road 
and Michael turns to his date and says to her "I didn't say nothing! We're out of gas!". Michael and 
his date, Michael in jeans and a red jacket with a big "M" on it and his date in a poodle skirt and a
 pink sweater, star walking down the road. Michael turns to his date and asks if they want to go "steady". 
They hug, a full moon comes out and Michael starts turning into a warewolf. Michael warns his date to 
"Get away!". Michael, as a warewolf, runs through the woods chasing his date and right when he 
jumps on top of her, we are now in a movie theaure. Michael, in a full red leather outfit, is sitting next 
to his date in a crowd full of people watching this horrifying movie. Michael's date is getting scared, so 
she decides to leave. Michael follows. Infront of the movie theatre Michael tries to convince his date
that it was not scary, but theyleave anyway. As they walk down the dark and empty street, the song begins.
Michael sings the song as if he was talking straight to his date. Michael finishes singing all of the verses, 
and then they both walk past a graveyard where the camera focuses in on a tombstone. We see a hand
pop up from the ground. Soon dead people are coming up from everywhere. Michael and his date,
unaware of what is happening, cross the street where the zombies surround them. Michael turns around
and he becomes a zombie too! His date stands horrified as she watched Michael and the other zombies
dance. Soon, she runs into an old abandoned house and hides. But Michael and the zombies find her and 
just as they are walking up to her, she screams and that old abandoned house becomes a nice clean house. 
was all a dream, Michael is waking his date up and says "Come on, I'll take you home." And as they leave, 
Michael turns around and he has yellow cat eyes. This video is also the only video ever to have closing credits. 
Some call this the greatest video of all time. It was also the most expensive, at the time, costing $800,000.

Bad (1987) 
In this short film Michael portrays a private school student coming home for vacation. Michael 
meets up with his old "street" buddies in the hood and they don't think that he isn't "bad".
To prove so, Michael meets them in an empty subway where Michael and his friends dance 
to the song "Bad". Michael, in this period, still has curly hair but it is getting longer. At the 
beginning he is wearing a long black coat and a gray hooded  sweatshirt. When the song starts 
Michael is wearing a black outfit with chains all over it.

The Way You Make Me Feel (1987) 
This short film showed Michael's quest for model Tatiana Thumbtzen outside on the street 
in what looks like a downtown/ghetto area if a city. Michael is wearing a jean shirt, white 
tee-shirt, white belt, and black pants.

of an elephant. This video has great special effects and tell the media Michael's story, to leave him alone.

This video was taped live in concert on Michael's "Bad" tour. Clips show Michael in a silver shirt 
and black pants. If you look closely you can even see backround singer, and now a singer herself, 
Sheryll Crow in a large blonde wig. 


Liberian Girl (1989) 
This film shows a movie set with many famous stars on it. All of the stars are searching 
for Michael so they can start shooting the video. Stars include Whoopi Goldberg, 
Quincy Jones, John Travolta, Steven Spielberg, Weird Al Yankovic, Paula Abdul, and more. 
At the end Michael comes on screen behind the camera taping them all and says "That's a rap!".

Remember The Time (1992) 
This short film, which takes place in Egypt, stars Iman as Queen Nefertiti, Eddie Murphy as 
the Pharoah, and Magic Johnson. At the beginning a hooded man drops dust onto the floor, 
and the hooded man walks into the dust and disappears into the ground. The dust then turns 
gold and is morphed into Michael. Michael then sings for the queen about their old 
relationship. The pharoah gets jealous and sends his men out to kill Michael. But Michael 
runs all over town and morphs back into dust before they can catch him. This short film 
featured an excellent dance piece.

Basketball is the main feature in this video. Michael Jackson got Michael Jordon to show him a few moves 
out on the court and at the end, Michael Jackson shows Michael Jordon a few moves on the dance floor. 
Michael wears black pants, orange shirt, and a white tee-shirt. There is a rap sequence by rapper Heavy D, 
and cameos by Naughty By Nature and Kris Kross.

Heal The World (1992) 
There are two short films for "Heal The World". One shows children in an run down city with 
soldiers armed with guns all over the place. In the end they all hold hands and struggle to 
"Make the world a better place for you and for me". In the second version, shows the accomplishments
of Michael's charity also called "Heal The World". They show pictures of the Heal The World team 
and at the bottom lists accomplishments. Michael is seen in the hospitals visiting sick children.

Who Is It (1993) 
There are two versions of this song. In the first one released is a montage of all of Michael's 
greatest performances. It shows clips from past videos, to live performances such as 
"Motown 25". In the other version Michael finds out that his girlfriend is a "call girl". This 
video has a futuristic point of view to it. Michael is found mostly wearing long European-looking suits.

Somebody's Watching Me (1984 - with Rockwell, From the Album "Somebody's Watching Me") 
Michael Jackson does not appear in this video but he did sing the backround vocals used in the chorus. 
You can hear Michael loud and clear. The video takes place at Rockwell's house. Rockwell, Berry Gordy's son, 
is paranoid about everything he encounters in his house. When he is taking a shower he thinks that the water 
is turning into blood, and when a puppy comes up to him he thinks that it is a little monster. At the end 
Rockwell realizes that he was just imagening things until the mailman comes to deliever mail and he is a skeleton. 
   
We Are The World (1985 - USA for Africa) 
This video was taped live at the recording of the song. It features many artists who recorded 
the song late at night after the Grammy Awards. The song went on to raise $60,000,000 for 
starving people in Africa.

This song shows Michael and Eddie singing in the sky with lots of colorful music notes

pants. Near the end the Harlem Boys Choir runs around Michael and Eddie while in the clouds. 
   
Why (1996 - with 3T, From the Album "Brotherhood") 
In this video with the group 3T, Michael joins us in what looks like an Egyptian museam. In this lovely ballad, 3T 
seems to be looking for the woman they love.
This shows Michael and Paul along with his wife traveling through the country-side.First    
they stop and put on a little act outside for a group of kids, and then they go to a bar and do an 
authentic "Vaudville" show known as "Mac & Jac". They wear clown outfits, and play the piano, and 
do a magic act until a fire causes everyone to leave. LaToya Jackson has a small cameo in this video.

This video shows the creation of the world. The Jacksons come together in what wil l form the 
modern world. This video was ahead of its time. During the period when the video was first 
invented, and people were just standing infront of a camera singing, the Jacksons made one of 
the first "short films".    
In the beginning of this short film, actor George Wendt (best known as "Norm" on the hit show "Cheers") 
										 	







 an abandoned street at night. When he turns back into a panther we see Bart Simpson watching the video and 
jumping on his couch. Homer, his father, then comes in and yells at him for having the TV on too loud and he

 is angry at his son, played by Macauley Culkin, for playing his stereo too loud.    
 In retalitation Macauley takes his guitar and plays it a full blast which makes his 
 father shoot out of the house and across the Earth and lands in Africa. There we 
 see native dancers dacing with Michael and the music begins. Michael takes this 
 video all around the world. This video is probably best known for it's morphing 
 technique at the end of the song where several people are morphed into each 
 other. Michael said he wanted that to show that we are all equal. At the end of the 
 video Michael transforms into a panther where he dances all over

There are two versions accompanying this video. One was made for the movie "Free Willy".
It shows clips of the movie, and clips of Michael singing the song live on his "Dangerous" tour. 
The other version was taped from MTV's 10th anniversary show called "MTV 10". Michael is 
shown will all different types of gospel choirs singing the song. Michael wears black leather pants,    
a white shirt and a white tee-shirt. When Michael speaks his lines at the end (In my darkest hour...) 
he sheads a year. In the end a bird flies out of the    top of the stage and hugs Michael. 
Michael and Janet Jackson form the Scream Team in their world against the media. They are 
found in a space ship screaming at the camera about all of their frustrations. This video was to 
show that Michael & Janet are brother and sister and are good, close friends. It is also the most 
expensive video ever made costing $7,000,000 (a big difference from the $800,000 that it took 
to make "Thriller" which once was the most expensive video ever made).

stage in an empty theatre proclaiming his love for his wife. This video had vivid colors and nice

a red tee-shirt in a burnt forest. He takes us all over the world showing us how man is ruining Mother Earth. 
In the middle of the song, when the choir starts singing, the wind starts blowing hard and Michael holds    
onto a tree. Then we see the world coming back to where it should be. All of the killed animals come 
back to life. All of the pollution goes away. And all of the trees cut down from the rain forests come back.

There are two versions to this song. One shows Michael wearing a pair of blue jeans and 
a white tee-shirt that says "Olodum" (a Brazilian band) on it. He is running through the streets 
of Brazil surrounded by fans. Extra Brazilian drums are added to the song. In the other video 
Michael is shown in a prison. We find him singing in the jail and then later on in the prison 
cafeteria. All of the other prison inmates are banging their fists on the table to the music. 
Inbetween you see shots of the police beating up Rodeny King, and many acts of violence. 
Michael is stressing the fact that we should end racism in these videos.
