My Ten Most Wanted List

Let's pretend that the world as we know it has come to an end, and I am the only woman left alive on the face of the earth... these are the ten guys I would most like to play Adam to my Eve... the ones I would choose to be stranded on a desert island with. My choices are obviously not going to be the same as every other woman's, but I have found something to admire in each and every one of them.

Other heart throbs may come and go on a daily basis for me, but Val Kilmer is the one man among them that I have remained constant to. I have adored him since the first moment I saw him in 'Willow'. I think he was definitely the best Batman; the fact that he looked so much like Jimmy Morrison, a man that I was acquainted with and admired greatly, in the movie 'The Doors', was totally spooky. People who know Val have told me that if I ever met him, I wouldn't like him so much. I know he's the quintessential bad boy, and that the character he played in 'Heat' is supposedly the closest to his personality, but I have always had an affinity for bad boys, and I guess Val is just that.
A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys is the most current of my fixations. Yes, I know he's half my age, but he is so blatantly sexual and so definitively an alpha male that I just can't help myself. Every time I see the Backstreet Boys video my daughter has, I find that I simply can't take my eyes off of him. He struts across the stage like a banty rooster, and I find it amusing to watch him find new and different ways to take off his clothes and display his navel. He is simply a wonderful example of a bad boy.

Heath Ledger is a 21-year old Australian who was in Shaun Cassidy's short-lived Fox Television series, 'Roar'. He also co-starred with Mel Gibson in 'The Patriot'. Currrently, he is starring in 'A Knight's Tale'. For a while, rumors flew hot and heavy here in Hollywood that he had been tapped to play Lestat in 'Queen of the Damned', the follow up to Anne Rice's 'Interview with the Vampire.

I don't know if Kevin Costner can be considered a bad boy; there are always those rumors of all his many flings floating around. I do know that he is a superb actor, and I simply adored him in 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves'. Though the film didn't get much critical acclaim, Kevin's portrayal of Robin of Locksley was, to me, the best since Errol Flynn's (a genuine bad boy, if there ever was one!). I also loved him in 'No Way Out', another film that didn't get as much notice as it should have. The scene with Sean Young in the limo just about took my breath away.
I first saw Stephen in his 1989 -91 television series, 'Young Riders', in which he played wild west legend, William F. Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. I wasn't aware at the time that he was Alec Baldwin's brother, but I knew the face looked familiar. Guess he can't be considered to much of a bad boy, either, since he's a settled old married man, but I still think he's a major babe!
I know that I saw Antonio Banderas before I saw him in 'Interview with the Vampire', but I really hadn't paid much attention to him until then. His role in 'Desperado' just added to his mystique, and then came 'Evita', and 'The Mask of Zorro'. This gorgeous man just keeps getting better and better. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the future, and I hope that if Anne Rice's 'The Vampire Armand' is made into a movie, Antonio is available to reprise his role.
I first saw Billy in his 1989 film, 'War Party', where he played one of a group of young Blackfoot Indians who clash with a group of belligerent whites in modern day Montana. Next, I saw him as one of the vampires in 'Lost Boys' and just fell in love with him. He is simply a very gorgeous young man.
Caleb Ross is  a new obsession of mine. This yummy 19-year-old plays a character named Lex on the television series, 'The Tribe', a soap opera about kids trying to make their way in a post apocalyptic world where the adults have been killed off by a deadly virus. Lex is the quintessential bad boy, a jock who considers himself God's gift to women. Just the kind of guy I always hated when I was his age. He is a very sensual creature, even for his young age. He already has a massive following, and I am sure he will be a very big star in the future.
Roy Dupuis plays the suave, sexy and enigmatic Michael Samuel on the cult favorite, 'Le Femme Nikita'. His character is a cucumber cool killer with brooding good looks and gorgeous blue eyes that make me melt in my seat. His slight French accent is a stunner, and he has a following worldwide.

He also appeared in the Peter Weller movie, 'Scanners', playing a slightly psychotic soldier named Becker.

Keanu is in my top ten mainly because of his recent role in 'The Matrix'. I think the role of Neo was probably the best one he's had since 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure'. The difference between the two roles reflects Keanu's growth from a teen idol to a major player in the movie industry. I loved 'The Matrix'. I think that it is one of the three best movies I've seen this year, and I freely admit that I have seen the movie at least 20 times. I got the video the moment it was available, and I will probably watch it 20 more times. Keanu seems to be one of those men who just get better with age., and I am looking forward to drooling over him in the next two Matrix movies.

In a nod to my current obsession with A.J, the music file here is 'Get Down' by the Backstreet Boys. The midi used here was sequenced by a very talented gentleman named Jason Noren. Check out some of his other work at FreshMidis.com. He has also sequenced midis from artists such as Briteny Spears, Dr. Dre, Eric Clapton, Fatboy Slim and 'N Sync.
