Cheese Straws


1 cup flour
1 tablespoon icing sugar
1 tsp baking powder,
1/8 tsp salt
pinch cayenne.
2 tablespoon butter
3 ozs grated tasty cheese.

Sift flour with 1 sugar, baking powder, salt and pinch cayenne. Rub in butter, add grated tasty cheese. Mix to a stiff dough with a little milk.

Knead and roll out VERY thin cut into fingers or squares, prick. Bake about 10 mins. at 200 C. (400 F.)
