Pecan Pie Bars
1 yellow cake mix, reserving 2/3 cup.
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup Karo dark syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 to 2 cups chopped pecans
Combine yellow cake mix, except 2/3 cup, with butter and 1 egg. Pat cake mixture into a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins. or until light brown. Take 2/3 cup yellow cake mix and combine with syrup, 3 eggs and brown sugar. Mixing well. Pour over pre-baked crust and sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 mins. Cool, cut into bars and serve.
