Refried Beans and Cheese
Makes 12 servings
1 cup minced onion
2 ounces minced bacon
30 ounces refried beans
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon
1 cup grated jack cheese
Combine onions and bacon in a skillet, over a medium flame. Heat and stir for 8-10 minutes, until onions are golden. Add beans, garlic, chile powder and 1/2 cup cheese. Heat and stir until cheese melts. Spoon into a heated serving dish or hotel pan. Top with remaining cheese. Serve hot.
