Barbecue Brisket
4 pounds beef brisket
2 bottles KC Masterpiece Hickory Barbecue Sauce (or your favorite kind)
1 jar ready-to-use chopped garlic (I use the BIG jar...your choice)
1 5-oz bottle A-1 sauce
Serving Size 6
In a big roasting pan, combine sauces and garlic; reserve 1/2 cup for basting. Add brisket, turning to coat. Cover and bake at 300F for 1 hour per pound. Let sit at least one hour to come to room temperature (can be done the day before; bring to room temp before barbecuing). Can be reheated on preheated barbecue grill, basting frequently, until hot through and well glazed -- about 20-30 minutes.
