Spiced Cider (for 4)


1 quart apple cider
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 cinnamon stick, broken
12 whole cloves
8 whole allspice

Combine ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool and let stand for several hours. Strain and reheat before serving.
