Low Fat Irish Soda Bread

4 cups all purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup buttermilk, 1% fat

Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl, sift all dry ingredients. Gradually pour milk into flour mixture and mix well. Dough will be stiff, however, if too dry, add more milk. Turn onto work station and knead 10 times. Shape dough into 2 round loaves. Prick each top of loaf with fork twice. Place loaves on nonstick baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Serve hot.

Makes 2 loaves.
