Pumpkin Bread 3
2 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped nuts
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices. Combine pumpkin, sugar, milk and eggs. Add dry ingredients and butter. Mix until well blended. Stir in nuts. Grease a loaf pan (9x5x3"). Pour batter into pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45-55 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
