Whole Wheat Banana Bread

1/2 cup or 1 stick margarine or 3 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoon molasses
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the margarine and sugar together until light and creamy. Add the mashed bananas and mix together. Sift together the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl beat the eggs and add the molasses. Then combine the three mixtures. Alternating add the flour mixture and egg mixture to the first mixture until smooth.
Pour into a greased loaf pan (9x5) and bake for 45-50 minutes.
