French Bread for ABM


1 1/2 Pound Loaf
9 1/2 ounces water, * see note
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
-or-
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast, fast rise

Crusty on the outside but chewy on the inside.
Assemble ingredients according to particular bread machine.
Program for Basic or Rapid bake cycle.
