Blond Brownies


1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Melt butter; gently stir in all remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips, just until mixed. Do not beat! Pat into greased 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 F for about 20 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.
