Spinach Brownies


1 (10-12 oz.) pkg. chopped frozen spinach
1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3/4 stick margarine or butter, melted
1 (12 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion

Thaw and drain spinach. Sift dry ingredients. Beat eggs and milk, margarine and dry ingredients. Mix lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Lightly grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour mix into pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 or 30 minutes.

Yields: 24 brownies.

May freeze. Reheat at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
