Chocolate Cake


CAKE
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup water
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups sugar

ICING
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nuts, optional
1 stick margarine
1 box confectioner' sugar

Put margarine, oil, cocoa and water in pan, bring to a boil. Pour over sifted flour and sugar; beating well. Mix buttrmilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla Pour this into the other mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes in 15x9x2-inch pan. Start mixing icing before cake is done.

ICING
Put all ingredients except sugar into a pan. Bring to a boil. Pour over confectionr' sugar and beat well. Spread over cake while hot.
