White Layer Cake


2 cup plus 2 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cup shortening
2 eggs

Cut in shortening and beat 2 minutes (150 strokes). Add eggs and continue beating 2 more minutes. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in moderate oven.
