Peppermints


1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of boiling water
6 drops of peppermint oil

Add boiling water and sugar into a non-stick saucepan. Stir until almost dissolved. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add peppermint oil. Beat until it reaches the right consistency. Should be a creamy texture.

Using the tip of a teaspoon, gently dip the spoon and make drops onto buttered waxed paper.

You can add drops of food coloring for festive occasions
