Cheese Wafers
1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/16 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
Sift then measure flour; resift with salt and cayenne. Cream together cheese, butter and worcestershire until well blended. Add flour mixture; mix well. Shape into two rolls. Wrap in plastic or waxed paper. Refrigerate overnight or store in deep freeze until ready to bake. Preheat oven to 375 deg. F. Cut rolls crosswise into slices 1/8 inch thick. Bake 10 to 15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet or until lightly brown and crisp. Remove from pan. Cool on wire cake rack.
