Taffy Apple Pizza

1 pkg Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
8 oz cream cheese
2/3 c sugar
1/4 c creamy peanut butter
2 large Granny Smith Apples
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1/4 c chopped peanuts (optional)

Spread cookie dough on round baking stone to 1 inch from edge. (About 14 inches across) Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. After cooling 10 minutes run a knife under cookie to separate from the stone. Combine cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter in bowl, and spread on cookie. Peel, core, and slice the apples and cut in half rings. Place rings on top of cookie pizza. Heat caramel topping in microwave for one minute and drizzle over apples. Chop peanuts and sprinkle over top. Cut with pizza cutter and serve. (Hint: cut cookie with spread on top BEFORE placing apples on - much easier to cut then, and looks better when served.)
